What motivated you to return to college?

I first enrolled at WVU in the late 1990s. I loved the school...but at that time, I did not have any clear career goals. I dropped out and then moved to South Florida. While I was there, I started working in the real estate industry. It is a field where you do not need a degree to get started...especially at that time. Why did you choose to enroll in the RBA program?

In addition to my WVU credits, I had picked up quite a few continuing education credits in FL as well as a technical Associates of Science program from when I lived in PA. Finding an undergraduate degree program that would take even the majority of those credits would have been very tough. When going to WVU's website to see about ordering my transcripts, I saw the RBA program. I called up the office and the advisor was so encouraging and explained the program so well. It really sealed the deal.

What are your career goals, and how do you think the RBA program will help you achieve them?

I knew that I wanted to go to graduate school...either for an MBA or perhaps law school. So I enrolled into the RBA with two goals in mind: #1 - complete the requirements to earn my RBA and #2 - take the necessary prerequisites for entry into the programs I was interested in. After earning my RBA degree, I was accepted into a part-time MBA program with a focus in marketing and earned that degree 3 years later.
