Andrea Soccorsi completed graduate studies in WVU’s Department of English with a concentration in 19th century literature and culture with a focus in the Victorian period. 

Currently, she chairs the WVU Sustainability Committee (2021-22 academic year) which serves as an advisory board to both The Faculty Senate and university administration and assists the WVU Office of Sustainability with its sustainability efforts. She also serves as a member of The WVU Faculty Senate.

In addition to teaching sustainability inclusive courses, Ms. Soccorsi also teaches courses in American pop culture, business and professional writing, composition and rhetoric and the short story and novel.
