Dr. Nevena Stojanovic leads the curriculum development committee in the Multidisciplinary Studies Programs. Her research interests include interdisciplinary theories, sociomaterial theories of learning, integrative writing pedagogy, performance studies, and American literature and culture at the turn of the twentieth century. Her latest article is forthcoming in Issues in Interdisciplinary Studies. She has contributed articles and book reviews to other renowned academic journals, such as The Henry James Review, Otherness: Essays and Studies, Theatre Journal, Canadian Journal of Disability Studies, and the like. She has presented her research at numerous national and international academic conferences, including the annual conventions of the Association for Interdisciplinary Studies. 

Nevena has designed and taught various multi- and interdisciplinary courses, from foundational to advanced ones, including the upper-division elective on approaches to happiness, open to all university majors. She enjoys helping students learn how to synthesize findings from multiple disciplines to shed light on complex problems, as well as how to integrate academic methodologies with learning experiences that occur beyond the classroom.

She is a member of the Association for Interdisciplinary Studies (AIS), American Studies Association (ASA), Modern Language Association (MLA), Henry James Society (HJS), and Society for the Study of American Women Writers (SSAWW).
